1. Sales Strategy and Business Development
– Work with head of sales to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to increase the business.-
– Work with head of sales to implement sales plan addressing revenue, market segment and clients.
– Identify new business opportunities for both local and international market.
– Cultivate relationships with corporate, government, association, and event planning clients.
2. Event Management
– Handles event inquiries, sales call, negotiate terms, close sales, planning and execution of event.
– Experience in planning and managing events, especially large-scale meetings, conferences, outdoor events and exhibitions.
– Plan, coordinate and work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution and delivery, including venue, catering, conference requirements, theme park accommodation and transport arrangements.
– Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted sales strategies and materials that resonate with prospective clients.
– Conduct post-event evaluations to enhance future events.
3. Client Relationship Management
– Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring exceptional service and customized event experiences.
– Manage clients, providing expert recommendations and ensuring client satisfaction.
– Display good guest hospitality, obtain feedback for improvement as well as build and maintain long term client relationship.
– Attends client events, trade shows and sales mission to expand network and business opportunity.
4. Financial Management and Compliance
– Manage event budgets, proposals, commercial terms and contracts to optimize profitability.
– Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
– Ensure all events follow MICE SOP and comply with relevant policies and regulations
5. Industry Engagement
– Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to enhance brand presence.
– Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Job Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field.
– Experience in hospitality and event management.
– Excellent verbal and communication, and interpersonal skills.
– Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Dynamic 365 for business needs.
– In-depth knowledge of the MICE industry, including trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
– Travel is required for client meetings, site inspections, and industry events
